Fig. 1 - 01.10.2017 - 4,3,2 colour composite - Bombetoka Bay on a clear day, its blue water flows into the Mozambique canal.
Fig. 2 - 05.12.2016 - Eroded material carried by the then yellow river dilutes into Bombetoka Bay water, giving it a cyan hue.
Fig. 3 - 30.03.2016 - The bay becomes greenish as the load of orange-red sediments increases in Betsiboka River.
Fig. 4 - 15.12.2016 - Such red sediment plumes backs the saying that Madagascar soil "bleeds into the ocean".
